encaenia of portfolio webstage

For the past few weeks I have solely devoted my time for the creation of my new portfolio. I have now experimented and delved deeper into wordpress themes, from creation of the custom theme, to the editing and complete customisation of a ready one. I am including some detailed information about the making of “portfolio webstage” in my Colophon.

The purpose of this update was not only the eminent termination of my previous website, but also the need to manage and keep more up to date; be on the move for yet another placement, yet another freelance work, yet another learning experience!

In this website you will find some useful information about me, such as my background, perhaps my school of thought as well as my multimedia and photography source of up to now best work.

There you go…These are the riches of Web 2.0 and wordpress, let’s enjoy them so!

This year taught me a lot really, from low quality quick work, to quality focused, w3c standards projects. From table technology, to Andy Clarke’s new dvd release. From paid to voluntary work. The boundaries and their set off’s.

I am currently looking for my next placement, while also focusing in perfecting my skills with wordpress and its potential. However I am very keen on exploring DOM JavaScript, ActionScript and 3d  max for the next few months as well, so I guess I am always on the look for something complementary…

However for the next month I will be working on 2 more websites, one is going to be a community website, a place were people can gather information, communicate and meet, Dublin Argentine Tango Society is promise to be delivered and a new challenge for me!

The second website is for a friend who is just setting out to create her own little company and freelance.

Last but not least, I would like to thank my friends for the support, encouragement and patience while I was creating this new “baby”
