A Mac in need, is a Mac indeed!
…Indeed look around you and you shall see Mac is becoming a giant company, its products are sold throughout the world, those who can afford them- have them, people desire them, even when opposite to it its a strong feeling (sheer hatred is love, but they are in denial
lol!
But, do we like Apple being a huge giant and the norm in the market?
In the 80′s having a mac use to be a quirk, in the 90′s it used to be “the designers tool”, “the expensive version of personal PC”. Then came the iPod’s, then the iShuffle, iPhone’s, iPad’s and what have you? People who had them were pointed out, more attractive, stylish, intelligent to know the difference between a PC & a Mac, not dressed in a suit for sure!
They made a difference from the norm, they were more into style, colours (versus squared black plastic IBM pc’s). Time by time and every second person on the street of a big city has them. I don’t’ mind, I am happy they are realising the value of my favourite brand, they are becoming one of us as I did too,but hey I am becoming a mainstream user this way. I don’t want to, I want to be the cool girl that knows how to use kerberos, that checks her email on the ipad on the go, shows her portfolio on her iphone, designs multimedia on her 8Gb Ram MacBook Pro, more than any cool girl. No, I am becoming the dreading norm!!
If Mr. Jobs was here what would he reply to me then, after all he was the quirk of his time:
-”hey gal, had you not always wished your device will be the top #1 device in the world?” and I would say yes steve, but is there going to be another small yet innovative, user friendly, qualitative company like you again, I will follow it with all my heart indeed!!
